From 27 January 2018 nrc.next on Saturday and NRC Weekend are harmonized
In 2017, NRC brought the structure of its morning and afternoon papers closer together by absorbing the strong elements of the morning paper into its afternoon counterpart, and vice versa.
On the 27th of January 2018, to make these titles even stronger, NRC also has brought its weekend papers nrc.next and NRC Weekend closer together, content-wise. From now on, both papers comprise five sections, namely: News/Weekend; Opinion & debate; Economy; Science; and Living the Weekend, the latter being the new name for the section that was previously called Lux. Furthermore, as is the case with subscribers of NRC Handelsblad, all nrc.next subscribers will also receive “Het Blad bij NRC” every first Saturday of the month. While these papers share a similar configuration, they retain their own names and the different delivery moments.
Thanks to these innovations, NRC will now offer an even more powerful weekend proposition that will enable you as an advertiser to reach all NRC’s weekend readers. This combined proposition will generate additional circulation of over 10 per cent, compared to NRC Weekend by itself.
This can therefore be seen as an excellent opportunity to bring your brand or message to the attention of even more highly committed readers.
