In September 2016 the Postcode Lottery Green Challenge celebrated its tenth anniversary. The objective of this supplement was to raise awareness for this competition and communicate what it has meant for innovative green start-ups. It also gave the five finalists of the Postcode Lottery Green Challenge 2016 a platform on which to explain what their world-beating environmental ideas were.

Strategy

[divider line_type=”Small Line” line_thickness=”3″ divider_color=”accent-color” animate=”yes”]De Postcode Lottery Green Challenge is one of the world’s biggest competitions in the field of sustainable business. Green start-ups from all over the world can enter what they consider to be promising and sustainable business plans. The plans are reviewed by an international jury and the winner receives €500,000 to further develop his or her product or service and then bring it to market. The competition is organised by the Netherlands’ National Postcode Lottery.

In September 2016 the Postal Code Lottery Green Challenge celebrated its tenth anniversary. With the aid of a printed supplement we took a retrospective look at what the prize has achieved over the years. The supplement also offered 2016’s five finalists a chance to explain to readers just how their innovative ideas will hep combat climate change.
